I know what I could bitch about, and that is bush's nomination of Bolton. BUT I am so digusted and pissed off about it, he doesn't get a picture of his ugly mug on the blog,I'm not going to talk about it, and thats all I am going to say.—pissed off about bolton bader

Even though Bush and every other President appoints people to positions around the Senate, I must say that Bolton is a MAJOR douchebag. He is abusive to those below him and has been described as a kiss-up, push down type of person. What a guy....eh.

Republican Hypocrisy. Bush contends that he had to do this because of “a handful of partisans” in the Senate. However, much of the same Senate Republicans who used the same methods as current Democrats did in filibustering the Presidential nominee are still in the Senate and are peculiarly silent on the means of appointing Bolton (Trent Lott spearheaded the initiative to filibuster Clinton’s nomination to the ambassadorship of Denmark…because we all know how important Denmark is in regards to international relations…).
There are two good things from Bush circumventing the Senate however:
1. Bolton will only serve for about two years
2. Historically, these types of appointees are not re-appointed after there first time is up.
Still though, he is the model person for whom the job ought not to go to.
Thanks for the info Joe. Although two years of Bolton is a lot for my taking, you give me hope that the bastard will not be there long.
