Not too much for tonight. Been tying up loose ends for my birthday party, sorry everyone I can't get a guiness keg so you are going to have to settle for a newcastle keg instead. Looks like a busy week at work, which is good I guess. Didn't get a chance to read the news yet today, and it is kinda nice, I think I will take the day off. Looks like a little bit of iPoker, family guy, and Communication Arts. Later

lazy pants

Alright, so after a small lapse in the blog, I am deciding to keep it and start posting again. I guess you could say that I was just following the w curve. I had a really busy week of work, and I can't believe that it is friday tomorrow. Tonight I went for a walk again with Jen around Lake Nokomis, and now I am studying for my drivers test tomorrow to get my minnesota residence and drivers license (I am taking an extended lunch to do it, they'll never know). Even though I will become a mud duck, cheese will still flow through my veins.

I am off to Duluth Rock city tomorrow for some r&r and some catch-up time with friends. Last time I was there was the fourth of July and lets just say Bret got too drunk. Have a good weekend everyone.

thesaurus

"I sympathize with Mrs. Sheehan," Bush said. "She feels strongly about her position. She has every right in the world to say what she believes. This is America. She has a right to her position. And I've thought long and hard about her position. I've heard her position from others, which is, 'Get out of Iraq now.'"

someone buy this idiot a thesaurus

Whats up everyone! I have had such a busy couple of days, work was crazy today, and I have a lot to get done tomorrow for some deadlines on monday. I got moved again, to a cube with a window that is twice the size of the one I was in. It made my day, I also got a second screen so I can have applications on two different screens. sweet.

I went for a walk tonight with Jen and her dog around lake nikomis or something like that. Watching the packers, THATS RIGHT FOOTBALLS BACK, doing some laundry and cleaning some stuff up. I watched Spiderman 2 last night and I liked it better than the first one. I also joined abby for a drink at bumpers.

Didn't read much in the news today, if you read something important, let me know. Peace out everyone and happy friday tomorrow.

long day at work

Hey everyone, bloggin at work, because my sup. is out of the office today and I have a long day to make up for hours missed yesterday. It would be nice if she was here, I would have more stuff to do. Now I have to stretch out the small amount of work I have for the entire day. But anyways, working on body copy and content of a standards manual, product logos, and packaging for the new version of software.

Bret, the score may have been 27-24, but the funny thing is, every year you start on cloud 9 during preseason, boasting about the "magnificent bears" and it is funny to watch the decrescendo of trash talk throughout the season as the bears so predicatably wash down the drain.

Don't forget everyone, LOOSE LIPS, PINK SLIPS; Fire Karl Rove!!!!

thank god its over

Thank god the discovery landed this morning. Yeah the crew survived, but now I don't have to hear about it constantly everyday in the news. Oh wait, I bet that the news finds some damn way to talk about it even though it has landed, everyday for the next week. NASA officials....Shuttle Crew says....Discovery.....Special report, Shuttle.....

Have a good workday everyone, I only have half a day. HAHAHA

thank you tokyo bowl and pro football hall of fame game

Doo doo doo doooo chch chch.....Thats right, Monday night football is back biatches. I was so glad to watch the Tokyo bowl and I am watching miami clean up the bears (it may be 7-0 now, but rest assured the bears will lose) sorry Bret, they will never be good. Whats that, last in yards and points in the league last season? I don't have the stats for that, but whatever madden says is the absolute truth.....lol. Seriously though, I have waited long enough for the pre-season to start.

Football, and reading tonight, and a trip to St. Cloud tomorrow to see Eric for dinner. Hope everyone has a good week, I had a case of the monday's at work today. Take it easy everyone!

weekend

My two nephews

me and my nephew

my niece, mom, and nephew

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was really good. Didn't do too much yesterday, went for a hike, read, and watched dead like me, and arrested development. Went to a family picnic today, and it was good to be around the family without a death or wedding happening. Had to take the nephew and niece into the lake 3 times, I was really sore after the third time in, throwing them in the water and such. I hope that everyone has a good work week. Sorry the blog isn't that exciting tonight, really don't feel like blogging.

sake and bowling

Check out the pinkie finger....high class

Whats up everyone, hope you all had a good friday night. Laura {leave my last name out of your blog laura} came down to St. Paul to visit her man, so I met up with them and we celebrated her new job at GEOCOMM [business cards, computer and name plate included].

It was a good time, we went to minneapolis and ate Vietnamese with a little bit of sake, and then I wanted to warm up my bowling skills so I can keep up with Eric's ESPN bowling talent.

Not too much for today, some errands, reading, and some tv.

roomates...the good...the bad....the ugly

When decided what to write today, I had a brillant idea, you would all get a crash course on my previous roomates, mostly so I could rip on the bad ones.

September 2000 - Paul Salo - THE BAD - Paul was a senior pyscho, who had requested the same dorm room every year. There were so many things wrong with this situation, I don't need to go into details. (notice the dates between him and the next, it was that bad.)

October 2000 - Josh Underdahl - THE GOOD - I moved in with Josh a month after living with the pyscho Paul. Josh and I got along great, and hated the rest of the floor. He did plant crazy ideas in my head though when I drank.

September 2001 - Bret Busakowski, - THE GOOD - Scott Gilson, - THE BAD - and Rick Smetak - THE UGLY. This was a great year, the year when I stopped being so uptight and really started to enjoy things. I think it was because of Bret and Rick being bad influences, bader want to try this, bader want to try that (that sort of thing.) Scott Gilson was a friend from high school who I thought went off the deep end, and became super obsessed with an ugly.

June 2002 - Rick Widen, - THE GOOD - Dan Ristrom, - THE BAD - Ben Ellege - THE BAD - Rob Lindquist - THE BAD - All of their girlfriends - THE UGLY. This year was by far the most fun I had living in Duluth. Huge parties at a Huge house. The only thing that sucked was my most of my roomates, and their bitchy ass girlfriends. The funny thing is my roomate rick from 2001 is currently living in this house in my old bedroom. Also bret from 2001, we partied hard in the house in the summer before the douchebags moved in.

June 2003 - John Ferrin, - THE GOOD - Mike Pappas - THE VERY BAD - This was the first year I lived in a shitty house, and it was a sign of how shitty pappas would be. The best part, he moved out in december and kept paying rent. He was super easy to walk all over. :)

June 2004 - John Ferrin, - STILL THE GOOD - Mr. Kitty - THE CUTE - This year was awesome because it was a decent duplex, John and I got along great, the the view overlooking the lake was unbelievable.

June 2005 - My Uncle - THE GOOD - Staying with family rocks, no rent.

****note**** Landlords of every year, sucked major ass, yes even the "u" just ask bret, rick, and josh, they all got caught drinking, I never did HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Have a good weekend everyone. Let me know if I left anything out.

Good Bye Verizon!!!!

I AM FINALLY RID OF STINKY VERIZON!!!!!! Everyone can still call the same number because I am getting my number ported tonight, but HELLO CINGULAR! And from the poll on my blog, 4 of you think I should get the silver razor. Therefore I am getting the black, because I wouldn't want the same phone as the rest of you. I had a good day at work, and I get to see Laura tomorrow. I hope that everyone has a good night! Let me know of any big plans this weekend.

Clarinets are fun....you know your the best when you're first chair

A Reed? Oh yeah; that's a piece of wood attached to the mouthpiece by a metal object called a ligature. When blown into by someone, the wood or reed vibrates against the mouthpiece to enable a sound. Other clarinet forerunners include the pibgorn and the hornpipe.

I can see why someone would like to play the clarinet.

bloggin from work deja vu

Hey everyone, I am blogging from work again because I am trying to impress someone with my "work ethics." The days pass really quickly here at work, because of the extent of projects I have. Sometimes it is hard to keep up, but you all know me, I like a challenge.

Don't forget: Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle, Shuttle!!!

Happy hump day everyone, I will post another blog tonight, just making sure I did a blog whilst being paid salary.

sneaky bitch

Some of you may know that I can be a sneaky bitch. One of the sneaky bitch things I love is pulling up to a busy restaurant and if I see a car of people parking/going in, I always rush to beat them in so I am ahead of them in line. Well I did that today at Panera and I was very glad because the line was huge and I beat a carload of teenie boppers in.

My rant for the day is I am sick of hearing about the space shuttle, no doubt its important, but ever since the launch it has been one thing after another. Yeah 7 people died 2 years ago, but 7 marines died in IRAQ today and that tops the count to 1,800. Come on now, stop saturating the news with stupid shit and focus on others, mainly the ones that highlight all the mistakes of the Bush Administration.

Not too much for tonight, real world austin and reno 911.

ps. everyone point and laugh at looara because I forwarded her a news article that ruins the plot of the current season of six feet under. (also a sneaky bitch move)

i know what I can bitch about

I know what I could bitch about, and that is bush's nomination of Bolton. BUT I am so digusted and pissed off about it, he doesn't get a picture of his ugly mug on the blog,I'm not going to talk about it, and thats all I am going to say.

"looks like somebody has a case of the mondays"

Hey everyone, I hope that you all had a good monday, mine was ok. Day one without a phone, I can handle it you just watch. Had a new annoying intern start today, I am of course high and mighter than her because I am a six-month contract. She is just a short term unpaid bitch. But seriously talk about mrs bitch know-it all on the first day.

I went for a 6K hike tonight, because I over-did it a little on a run last night. It was a pretty nice area. Not too much tonight, still trying to put a large dent in the "need to read" pile, and maybe some tv but there isn't much on tonight.

So I realized that I haven't been putting much for current events on the site. (in other words you haven't had to listen to me bitch lately) So starting tomorrow or later tonight if I feel like it you will get a little dose of badernn. Ambar is a snatch.
